Jesus deserves our best. So that’s what we give you.

Launchpad Preschool is a ministry of Foothills Church which means that we exist to develop mature disciples of Christ in relational environments. We believe that Launchpad Preschool has the incredible opportunity to create relational environments in our classrooms for both the students and the parents we interact with every day.

We have an important message to share, the amazing story of the gospel.  We get the privilege of sharing this message while also helping students grow in their social and academic skills.

Safe and Licensed.

We have developed an early enrichment program centered around a loving, nurturing and structured environment where our students begin their education process with developmentally appropriate and spiritually driven activities. Our drop off/pick up procedures create a safe and secure environment throughout the day for our students. All of our teachers meet the licensing requirements set by the State to include training hours, background checks, educational verification, medical clearance and first aid training and CPR certification.

Launchpad Preschool is Department of Human Services (DHS) Licensed, which means we are regulated by the State to make sure we meet the necessary requirements set by the State.  Launchpad has an excellent track record with DHS and continues to be in good standing with the State.

FAQs

What is your teacher to child ratio?

2’s – 1:7 (one teacher, seven students)
3’s – 1:8 (one teacher, eight students)
4’s – 1:9 (one teacher, nine students)
Additionally, we also have Program assistants that float to classroom areas to help as needed.

Can I come into the preschool to drop my child off?

Yes. You will enter the building and sign your child into their classroom or morning care using our Brightwheel system. You will walk your child to the classroom where they will be greeted by his/her teacher.

Do you have a sick policy?

Yes, a student must be fever/diarrhea/vomit free for at least 24 hours without medication. Other illness may require a longer absence period or a doctor’s note.

Does your program have a nap or rest time during the preschool day?

Our program is only 5 hours and doesn’t include a rest time per state licensing. If a child attends our After Care program a rest/nap time will be provided at that time from 2pm - 3pm

Are there parent involvement opportunities?

Yes, we encourage parental involvement whenever possible. We have apparent information board located at the entrance for families to find exciting information about what’s happening at Launchpad preschool.

What is your policy on holidays and closures?

You will receive a calendar that lists all the Holidays and other preschool closures. We follow Maryville city school for inclement weather closures.

Does each classroom have a schedule that they follow each day? Do students play outside?

Yes, each class has a schedule that they follow each day. Each class has 50 minutes of recess every day (30 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon). We offer a large group room for play when the weather does not permit outside play.

Can someone other than a parent pick up my child?

Yes, as long as they are listed as an approved pick-up person by a parent. Your approved pick-ups will need to show a photo ID when picking up a child and use their own code to sign out a child. We ask whenever possible, you let us know ahead of time who will picking up your child from preschool.

What qualifications do your teachers have?

All of our teachers meet the licensing requirements set by the
State to include: training hours, back ground checks, educational verification and
medical clearance. Our staff range from degreed teachers to women who are trying to
make a difference in the lives of children. Launchpad feels very blessed to have such a
wonderful teaching staff that is totally dedicated to the children we serve!
